3 Ways a Couple Can Reconnect at Mango Sunsets

Family vacations are great but at times you simply want to get away and reconnect as a couple. The east side of Panama City beach provides the relaxing and quieter setting that promotes spending time with your better half.

Walks on the Beach

The emerald green waters and barking white sand beaches of Panama City Beach are ideal for walks on the beach. Whether you both are power walkers or just like a simple holding hands stroll, Mango Sunsets has miles of beaches for this activity. When we are at the beach, we start each day with a beach walk. The cooler air along with less people out and about allows you to feel like this oasis is all yours!

Insider Tip: If you go east when hitting the sands coming out of Mango Sunsets, the walk is 2.5 miles to the St. Andrew's State Park jetties. This makes for a nice 5 miles round trip and you can even stop by to take in the park's pier.

The Grand Marlin

The Grand Marlin is a gem of a seafood restaurant located within the Grand Lagoon. It is located a little over a mile door to door from Mango Sunsets. The meals are simply delicious and the service is top notch. There are two seating options: inside seating is in the lower level, covered outside seating is upstairs. Both offer spectacular views of the lagoon as well as the sun setting over the gulf.

Every appetizer, meal, desert and drink we've tried in our numerous dinners have all been satisfying.  The menu is printed daily as the chef constantly creating new offerings. Be sure to check out the restaurant's Facebook page for daily specials.

Insider Tip: Take advantage of the early dining menu daily from 4:00 - 5:30 pm. Just be sure to have your order into your server by 5:30 pm sharp!

Sea Screamer Sunset Cruise

The Sea Screamer is a PCB favorite. Departing from the Grand Lagoon which is about a mile from Mango Sunsets, this boat cruise is a perfect way to see the beauty of Panama City Beaches coastline and marine wildlife. The sunset cruise adds an additional element of beauty while at sea!

Visit their web site for more information .

Insider Tip: Get your camera ready. The dolphins love to play with the Sea Screamer and jump their wake.
